Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Occasionally may work 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM shifts if needed
• Up to every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities
• 4:1 patient ratio for all shifts
• Self-scheduling system
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers are acceptable
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS
• EPIC charting system experience required
• STEMI and Stroke facility experience required
• Must pass mandatory EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• Care for patients of all ages including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle approximately 180 visits per day in 58-room emergency department
• Treat special care populations including cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health patients
• Work with interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• May be required to float to other campus locations if needed
