Job Details:

• 3x12-hour shifts with variable shift start times
• Cases run Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• On-call staffing required after hours on weekdays and weekends
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Work setting is the Operating Room
• Adult-only patient population
• Heavy focus on total joints and orthopedics, general surgery, vascular, GYN, robotics, cardiac, urology, ENT, and breast procedures
• No neurology, spine, or mother/baby cases
• Daily census of 35-40 cases per day including Cath Lab
• Charting system: Epic
• 3 years of Anesthesia Tech experience required
• 1+ years of travel experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ASATT, Cer.A.T., Cer.A.T.T.
• Required skills include: anesthesia machine operation and troubleshooting, aseptic technique, breathing circuits, emergency intubations, endotracheal tube management, GlideScope, IV pumps, laryngoscope blades, patient positioning and transport, room set-up and turnover, standard monitors, sterilization and disinfection of equipment, and universal protocol (time out) procedures
• Experience with arterial lines, central venous access, cell saver, and rapid infuser preferred
• LTAC experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
