Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Job in Indianapolis, IN

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment at IU Health Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, IN. You will work 3x12 hour night shifts with every other weekend requirement.

Role Overview:

• Provide respiratory care for neonates, infants, and pediatric patients across multiple units
• Primary placement in L&D with home unit assignment to NICU, PICU, or Pediatrics Acute Care based on facility need
• Float to PICU and pediatric acute care units as required
• Work with specialized equipment including CPAP, mechanical ventilation, nitric oxide, and aerosol delivery systems
• Perform arterial blood gas interpretation, tracheostomy care, and ventilator weaning procedures

Requirements:

• Current RRT certification (NBRC)
• Active Indiana State License
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications (NRP required for L&D placement)
• PALS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years pediatric respiratory therapy experience
• L&D experience as primary placement requirement
• NICU and PICU experience required
• Children's hospital experience within the last 3 years
• Education accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA

• Weekly pay: $2,358.72
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Floating to affiliate hospitals nearby is required
