Electrophysiology Technician Job in Sun City, AZ

You will work as an Electrophysiology Technician in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Banner Cardiovascular Center- West Valley, supporting a range of advanced cardiac procedures. This is a 91-day travel assignment with flexible 5x8 shifts, paying $2,391.48 weekly.

Your responsibilities include:

• Perform technical duties in electrophysiology studies and radiofrequency ablation procedures
• Manage all imaging aspects within the Cardiac Cath Lab environment
• Scrub and assist with vascular studies under cardiologist, radiologist, or vascular surgeon supervision
• Conduct vascular angiography, angioplasty, arteriography, and electrophysiology procedures
• Perform hemodynamic measurements and assist with pacemaker and AICD insertions and replacements
• Maintain and troubleshoot fluoroscopy and ultrasound equipment
• Monitor radiation exposure and apply radiation safety principles
• Manage inventory and supply chain ordering to facility PAR levels
• Track per-case expenses and recommend cost-saving initiatives
• Follow AIDET protocols and adapt flexibly to department reassignments

Required qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiologic Technologist program
• Current ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification
• State licensure and Fluoroscopy permit (if ARRT certified)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in direct patient care settings
• Fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and strong communication abilities

Assignment begins July 13, 2026. You will be an Allied Health Professional providing specialized support in an advanced cardiovascular setting.
