Pharmacist Inpatient Job in Cartersville, GA

Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacist for inpatient pharmacy services. This is a 70-week travel assignment beginning September 21, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 4x10 nights (7 on / 7 off rotation)
• No on-call requirements
• Weekly pay: $3,110.40

Role Details

You will provide inpatient and acute care pharmacy services, floating within the facility as needed within your scope of practice. Your responsibilities will include clinical dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, therapeutic medication monitoring, compounding, IV piggyback, and IV push medications. You will serve patients across all age groups: neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience (first-time travelers are welcome)
• Current BLS and RPh certifications
• Charting system experience (any system accepted)
• Skills in inpatient/acute care, mail order, retail pharmacy, skilled nursing, and medication management

Time Off & Scheduling

• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract
• All time-off requests must be finalized at submission; no schedule changes after offer or on-site
• No time off permitted during orientation week (Monday–Sunday)
• Holiday expectations: If 1–2 major holidays fall during your assignment, you work all of them. If 3 or more fall during your assignment, you work 2 of them
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day

This position offers a structured schedule with clear expectations and the stability of a 7-on/7-off rhythm. You'll work in a well-established facility with diverse patient populations and a full scope of pharmacy practice.
