Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Job in Allentown, PA

You will work as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the neonatal and pediatric units at LVH - Cedar Crest, a 40-bed facility in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning July 13, 2026.

Schedule and Assignment Details

• 4x12 day shifts
• Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities
• One pre-approved time off request allowed during the assignment
• 40 hours of orientation provided

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $3,110.40

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• At least 1 year of experience in level 3 or higher NICU, or minimum 1 year PICU experience
• Pennsylvania state license
• Current certifications: RRT, BLS, PALS, NRP, ACLS
• PA fingerprints and childline clearance

Clinical Responsibilities

Your duties will include ventilator management, intubation assistance, CPAP/BiPAP therapy, high-flow nasal cannula administration, and tracheostomy care. You will work across both neonatal and pediatric units depending on facility needs.

Additional Requirements

• Complete labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Pass/Fail exam (RRTs are exempt from this requirement)
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• First-time travelers are accepted
