41101 - Travel: RN - Emergency Room - NIGHTS

Opportunity:

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required
• Nurse to patient ratio of 4:1
• Very high acuity unit caring for patients with strokes, cardiovascular conditions, diabetes, wounds, behavioral health, and sepsis cases
• Some trauma cases handled but not a trauma-designated unit
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC from AHA
• RN License in state of employment or compact required
• One year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days
• Complete Emergency Department-specific competency validation
• Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide patient education
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers
• Security is onsite 24/7
