Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Weekend requirement of 1 weekend per 6 weeks
• Possible call required with shift potentially varying to include weekend shifts (discuss during interview)
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Call required: Day shift 4 days per schedule, Mid shift 2 days per schedule
• Number of weekend shifts per contract: 4
• Scheduling type: Block scheduling
• Orientation hours: 24
• General OR and Trauma experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS (BLS training will be provided if not currently held)
• AHA certifications required
• Compact or Louisiana license required upon submittal
• Must reside more than 65 miles from facility (local travelers not accepted)
• Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, phlebotomy, and radiology
