Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 8-week contract assignment
• No weekend requirements
• On-call expectations 3 times per week from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM when cases run late
• No holiday requirements
• First to float within scope of practice
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• PACU experience in cardiac/vascular and thoracic surgery required
• Previous travel experience required
• Minimum 3 years PACU/critical care experience in past 4 years
• Charge experience preferred
• Care for cardiac patients (Mitraclips, TAVRs, Watchman procedures), thoracic and vascular surgery patients
• Must be comfortable with vasoactive drips, ERAS protocols for early ambulation in post-op care
• Treatment of arrhythmias and compliance to ASPAN guidelines required
• Must work with minimal supervision and demonstrate excellent critical thinking skills
• Epic EMR system experience required
• Maroon scrubs provided
