<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Certified Surgical Tech - Certified Surgical Tech</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM with holiday rotation<br>• Rotating weekends required<br>• Up to 4 call shifts per month and 1 weekend call shift per month<br>• May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs<br>• 2 years of experience required<br>• Highly preferred experience in Neuro (spines/cranial), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (DaVinci Xi) cases<br>• Handle common cases including Ortho (total joints, spine, trauma), Neuro (cranial, spine), ENT (flaps), Robotics, Transplants/Procurements, Trauma/Burns, and GU/GYN<br>• Required certifications: NBSTSA (NCCT not accepted), BLS<br>• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency<br>• Level 1 trauma experience required<br>• Must staff full variety of surgical cases in Main OR<br>• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks<br>• Scrub color provided<br>• Charting system: EPIC<br>• Parking fee: $20 registration for hang tag to use garage<br>• Non-billable modules averaging 4 hours completed pre-start<br>• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This Level I academic trauma center features 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties including trauma, transplant, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics. The Main Operating Room operates within a busy, dynamic, nurse-driven Magnet designated department with 820 total staffed beds. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists, with RNs trained to both scrub and circulate.
