ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units required
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred
• Work in a 64-bed Emergency Department including 2 triage beds, 40 acute beds, 6 super track beds, 2 trauma beds, 10 CDU beds, and 6 psych beds
• Treat patients across all age groups including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
• Common patient diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Operate specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• EMR experience required: EPIC
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in emergency department required with some pediatric experience
• Travel nursing experience required
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Active New York RN license required with NURSYS verification
