Long-Term Care CNA Job in Kapaa, HI

Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time long-term care position in Kapaa, Hawaii. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 12, 2026, offering you the opportunity to provide essential patient care in a supportive healthcare environment.

Position Overview

You will work 40 hours per week providing direct patient care across a variety of settings, including skilled nursing facilities (SNF), intermediate care facilities (ICF), medical units, and surgical units. Flexibility is essential—you must be willing and available to work any shift, including rotating schedules as needed by the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nursing support tasks under the supervision of nursing staff
• Provide direct patient care following established methods and procedures
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal hygiene
• Support patient comfort and dignity across multiple care units
• Participate in facility-based care and potentially home-based care for patients
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate with the nursing team

Compensation and Benefits

You will earn $2,336 weekly. Holiday pay is provided based on hours worked on New Year's Day, Independence July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
