Registered Nurse - CVOR @ Flagstaff Medical Center

Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call requirement: 18 days of call in an 8-week period
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week with facility allowed to call off 6 times during 13-week assignment
• Weekend coverage as needed
• Must float to Main OR when no CVOR cases are scheduled
• CVOR coverage includes vascular procedures and vascular call
• 2 years of experience required with OR experience mandatory
• Required certifications: Active unrestricted Arizona RN License (or valid compact license), BLS, ACLS
• Scrubs provided for CVOR RNs
• Charting system: Cerner
• Free parking available
• Must adhere to quality and patient safety standards including medication administration (BCMA)
• Expected to help train core staff and provide assistance where needed
• Handle procedures including CABG, valve replacements, endovascular cases, thoracic procedures, and laser lead extractions
• Work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• 8-hour orientation required
• Must be comfortable floating within hospital based on census and skill sets
