EEG Technician Job in Houston, TX

You will work as an EEG Technologist in an acute care setting at CHI St Lukes Health - Baylor St Lukes Medical Center in Houston, Texas. This is a 91-day travel assignment with 3x12 hour day shifts, working 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Sunday through Tuesday. You will earn $2,073.60 per week.

Your responsibilities include performing standard and complex EEG recordings across multiple specialized areas:

• Long Term Monitoring (LTM) and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) studies
• Intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring (IONM)
• Intracranial stereoelectroencephalography (SEEG) and Transcranial Doppler (TCD) studies
• Electrode implantation and design assistance for invasive recordings
• Cortical mapping procedures in the operating room
• Recognition and reporting of clinically significant electrographic patterns

You will document patient care using the EPIC charting system and work collaboratively with the neurology team to provide critical clinical results.

Requirements: You must hold a minimum of 5 years of EEG technician experience. Required certifications include BLS Certification, Certified Long-Term Monitoring (CLTM) via ABRET, and Registered EEG Technologist (R.EEG T.) via ABRET.
