X-Ray Technician Job in Knoxville, TN

You'll work as an X-Ray Technician at University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, supporting both Radiology and Cardiology departments. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 21, 2026.

Schedule & Hours

• 3x11 nights (or rotating 3x12 or 4x12 per facility scheduling)
• 80 hours biweekly
• Weekend shifts required
• No on-call requirements
• Holiday requests kept to a minimum

Your Role

You'll perform X-ray imaging in multiple settings and float within scope to meet facility needs, including Emergency Department, inpatient units, outpatient services, Operating Room, and portable studies. Experience with OR procedures and O-Arm technology is essential. You must be proficient with both Siemens and GE imaging equipment and comfortable charting in Cerner.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of X-ray technician experience
• Minimum 1 year of travel healthcare experience
• Current ARRT certification and BLS certification
• Extensive OR experience required; O-Arm experience a plus
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• Large volume hospital experience preferred
