ED Registered Nurse Job in Leonardtown, MD

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts
• Patient ratio of 1:4-6
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend with 6 weekend shifts in each 6-week schedule (Friday & Saturday nights)
• Orientation every Monday with 36 orientation hours
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment
• CERNER charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Skills required: General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi
• Royal blue scrubs required (not provided by facility)
• Care for patients of all ages: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 120 patients with 30 rooms and 44 beds
• Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
• No requested time off permitted during first two weeks of assignment
• Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed per 13-week contract
