Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday work required if present during holidays
• Perform 36-42 treatments per 12-hour shift or 12-14 treatments every 4 hours
• Cover Adult, NICU III, and Pediatrics departments
• RRT preferred but will accept CRT with at least 3-5 years of experience
• Must have 2-3 years experience if RRT, 3-5 years experience if CRT
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Must know NAVA (naturally adjusted ventilatory assist) on Servo vents for NICU coverage
• Manage all respiratory therapy equipment, treatments, transport, and ABGs
• Will not perform EKGs
• Assist with intubations but will not intubate independently
• May float to Meridian Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center
• Any color scrubs allowed as long as clean and professional
• Typically 2-3 shifts of orientation (additional shifts for specialized units)
• Work with various equipment including Draeger vents, Servo U vents, V60 BiPAPs, Vapotherm high flow, Optiflow, Philips Cough Assist, ResMed home CPAP, and HillRom equipment
• No call or standby requirements
• EPIC charting system used
