RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Self-scheduling position with 36 hours of orientation
• Patient ratio of 3:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Floating may be required to Mother Baby, L&D, and Pediatrics areas
• Must work 4 weekend shifts in a 6-week period
• 3 years of NICU experience strongly preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, NIHSS
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Must be available to work some holidays
• Pending license accepted with submission but must be active before start
• Local radius: 50 miles, local candidates not accepted
• Hard document deadline: 3 business days prior to start
• On-site drug screen required with comprehensive panel testing
• Care for neonates and infants with conditions including respiratory distress syndrome, necrotizing enterocolitis, and neonatal abstinence syndrome
• Skills include ventilator management, central line care, IV vasopressors, high frequency ventilation, and developmental care
• Experience with NICU levels II, III, and IV preferred
• Daily census of 13 patients across 18 beds in 6 rooms
