Telemetry RN Job in Alexandria, LA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an RN for a Telemetry position at CHRISTUS St Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA. This is a 91-day travel assignment with the possibility of conversion to permanent status.

Assignment Details:

• 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend schedule
• No on-call requirements
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1 depending on staffing
• Weekly pay: $2,312.64
• Start date: June 8, 2026

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to cardiac and telemetry patients
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Perform nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Provide patient and family education as needed
• Monitor patients using telemetry equipment and respond to changes in condition

Requirements:

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or compact state
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association
• One year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Ability to attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days of hire
• Completion of designated organizational entry competency validation
