CT Technologist Job in Smyrna, GA

Vinings Health Park is seeking a CT Technologist for weekend day shift coverage. You will work Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM in a fast-paced imaging environment where your technical skills and clinical judgment directly support patient care.

What You'll Do

• Perform a wide range of CT imaging procedures with independent judgment and initiative
• Verify clinician orders and obtain complete clinical histories prior to procedures
• Administer contrast media according to established protocols and operate power injection equipment
• Maintain current venipuncture competency and assist with patient positioning and procedure setup
• Review CT images for clinical acceptability and adjust technique to minimize radiation dose while maintaining image quality
• Transport patients safely and take call when necessary
• Communicate effectively with clinical teams and patients in a collaborative environment

What You Need

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology; less than 1 year CT experience is acceptable
• Current ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certifications
• BLS or equivalent certification
• Ability to work independently under pressure while contributing to a team
• Detail orientation, strong multitasking skills, and excellent customer service abilities
• Flexibility to adjust work hours to meet department needs

You will be compensated at $2,368 per week for a 91-day assignment beginning May 6, 2026. This is a day shift position focused entirely on weekend coverage.
