RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 13-week contract length
• 12-hour night shifts with every weekend required
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Holiday rotation required
• May float to other like units and facilities as needed based on census
• No on-call or call back requirements
• 53-bed Med Surg unit with patient ratios of 1:7-8 possible
• Experience with insulin and cardiac drips required
• Must be able to read telemetry
• Short-term acute care hospital experience required
• 3-5 years of Med Surg experience required
• At least 1 completed traveler contract preferred
• EPIC charting experience required within last 12 months
• Required certifications: BLS, WI or Compact license
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Any scrub color permitted
• Strong documentation skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment required
