Radiation Therapist Job in Richmond, VA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a travel assignment at CJW Medical - Johnston-Willis Campus in Richmond, VA. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00–4:30 PM, for a 91-day assignment starting April 6, 2026. You will earn $2,920 weekly.

Your Role

You will treat approximately 45–55 patients daily across 2 TrueBeam linear accelerators, working alongside one additional radiation therapist per machine. Your responsibilities include operating advanced equipment, performing VMAT and SBRT procedures, and managing surface guidance protocols using Align RT (Vision RT) technology. You will document all patient care through the ARIA system and demonstrate advanced proficiency in Deep Inspiration Breath Hold (DIBH) techniques.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on TrueBeam experience
• AART certification
• Demonstrated experience with Align RT (Vision RT) surface guidance systems
• Proficiency with ARIA documentation software
• Advanced skills in DIBH protocols

Facility Details

CJW Medical - Johnston-Willis Campus operates an ACR-accredited radiation oncology department with Commission on Cancer and NAPBC accreditation. You will work within a multidisciplinary team that includes front desk staff, registered nurses, therapists, dosimetrists, medical physicists, a dietitian, and social workers. The department maintains high patient experience standards with Press Ganey scores around 95%.

• 1 GE CT Simulator
• Elekta HDR equipment

You will be required to wear Caribbean blue scrubs during your assignment.
