EEG Technician

EEG Tech - EEG Tech Respiratory Neuro

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• EMU (Epilepsy Monitoring Unit) experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• BLS certification required
• BSN preferred
• VA or compact state license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Work with all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Patient ratios: 2 patients during nights, 4 patients on weekends
• One weekend shift required per month
• Float within scope if needed
• Work in 8-bed Pediatric and Adult Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
• Perform routine EEG testing, ambulatory EEG testing, long-term/continuous EEG in ICU
• Handle both inpatient and outpatient EEG procedures
• Conduct seizure studies and adult inpatient care
• Complete 6 hours of non-billable modules during orientation week
• Must adhere to natural nail policy
• No time off granted during first week of assignment
