Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in El Paso, TX

You will work as an RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Las Palmas Medical Center El Paso. This is a 13-week contract assignment running from May 11, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts
• Primary hours: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
• Schedule flexibility required; you may be assigned 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 10:00 AM–6:00 PM based on operational needs
• Weekend on-call responsibilities for emergent cases
• Call distributed evenly across staff
• Weekly pay: $2,482

Role and Responsibilities

You will assist with a range of cardiac procedures in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Procedures include cardiac catheterization, PCI, EP procedures, Watchman procedures, TAVR, INARI, device implantations, and Impella placements. You will typically work with 2 RNs and 2 CV techs per case, unless anesthesia or non-invasive procedures are involved. Patient ratios vary by case complexity.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Cardiac Cath Lab and EP experience preferred
• RCIS or Cardiovascular Nurse certification preferred

Work Environment

You will use the Meditech EMR system and follow a dress code of royal blue or black scrubs. The Cardiac Cath Lab is a specialized environment where you will collaborate closely with interventional cardiologists, EP specialists, and technicians to deliver procedural care.
