PACU RN Job in Dallas, TX

You will work as a Registered Nurse in a 16-bed Post Anesthesia Care Unit at Medical City Heart and Spine, caring for patients in the immediate recovery phase following cardiac and orthopedic procedures.

• Manage a 2:1 patient ratio in a day shift environment with 1 charge nurse and 8 staff members
• Provide specialized nursing care using advanced equipment including LVADs, A-lines, Swan-Ganz catheters, and ventilators
• Support patients recovering from cardiac catheterizations, ablations, carotid endarterectomies, TAVR procedures, laminectomies, and hip and knee replacements
• Document patient care using the Meditech EMR system
• May float to the pre-op area as needed to support unit operations

Position Requirements:

• Current RN licensure
• ACLS certification required
• Critical care ICU experience required
• PACU experience required
• Cardiac experience preferred
• Orthopedic and neurological experience preferred

• Schedule: 3x12 days, 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: April 21, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,708.20
• Call responsibilities include 1-hour response time to hospital with weekend call requirements
• Dress code: royal blue scrubs
