Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Charleston, SC

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at MUSC Health Charleston. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 15, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 4x10 day shifts, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• $2,419.20 weekly
• On-call: 1–2 nights per week, one weekend in a six-week period, holiday call possible
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed
• Self-scheduling system

Your Role

You will support 5 cath lab rooms plus a hybrid OR, managing a daily census of approximately 23 adult and geriatric patients. You will handle diagnostic and interventional cases including right and left heart catheterization, PCI, complex PCI, CTO, ASA, PFO/ASD closure, MitralClip, Watchman, percutaneous mitral valve replacement, TAVR, peripheral, and vascular procedures.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Previous charge experience required
• 2 years of overall nursing experience preferred
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Scrub procedures (experience preferred)
• Epic charting system experience preferred

Credentials and Licensing

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Radiation badge provided by agency
• South Carolina or multi-state/compact license required at contract start

What We Provide
