CT Technologist Job in Carlsbad, NM

You will work as a CT Technologist on a 13-week travel assignment at Carlsbad Medical Center in Carlsbad, New Mexico. This is a night shift position working 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, scheduled Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday. You will earn $2,354 weekly.

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform professional, timely, and accurate diagnostic CT examinations of specific anatomy as prescribed by referring physicians
• Provide CT care to patients to obtain diagnostic quality images for interpretation by radiologists
• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
• Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including CT of head, brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and biopsy and drainage procedures
• Apply knowledge of CT system processing, surgical and sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy
• Provide timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional degree
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• ARRT CT certification required
• CT and X-ray experience required
• New Mexico state license required

Assignment Details

• 13-week contract
• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
• Call required: 4 days per month
• No floating required
• Any scrub color permitted
• EMR system: Medhost
