Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every-other-weekend requirement with Saturday/Sunday shifts for both days and nights
• Work holiday rotation schedule with permanent staff
• 29-bed cardiac/telemetry stepdown unit with 1:5-6 nurse to patient ratios
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must be able to titrate cardiac drips including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Integrelin, Heparin, Ativan, Lasix, and Nitro up to 50 mcg
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips using Phillips monitors
• Care for cardiac patients, post-catheterization, AMI, post-operative lung surgeries, respiratory failure, chest tubes, pacemakers, and post-PCI patients
• Float to any Med Surg/Telemetry units as needed
• Royal blue scrubs required with no false nails policy
• EPIC charting system
• 2 shifts cancellation policy per 13-week contract
• Acute care setting at Level 2 trauma facility
