Job Details:

• Day shift from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
• First time travelers welcome
• 2 years of experience required
• Call required per unit needs
• Weekend coverage required
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Average daily census of 40 cases per day
• Serve patients across all age groups including adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care and function as an advisor and resource for patients and their families
• Must be proficient in a wide range of surgical services including Trauma, ENT, Colorectal, Plastics, Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, Oral/Dental, Laparoscopic Procedures, Urology, Ophthalmology, GYN, General, Orthopedic, Robotics, Vascular, and Thoracic
• Experience with da Vinci Xi Surgical System and robotic surgery preferred
• Charting system experience with Cerner preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred; Trauma Level II experience required
• Valid Maryland or Compact license required at time of submission
• Required certifications: BLS, 16-hour Maryland approved trauma course (required by 27th week of assignment), and 8-hour annual trauma CEUs
• Additional preferred certifications: ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
• References required
