PICU RN Job in Oklahoma City, OK

You will provide specialized nursing care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at OU Health in Oklahoma City. This is a travel nursing assignment running for 89 days, starting June 8, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,930.40 on a 3x12 night shift schedule.

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver intensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients requiring continuous medical intervention and monitoring
• Monitor patient vital signs, hemodynamic status, and clinical responses using advanced pediatric monitoring equipment and technology
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and medical records in compliance with facility standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams—including physicians, respiratory therapists, and social workers—to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions when needed
• Support families during stressful and critical care situations by providing clear communication and compassionate care coordination

You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week, giving you flexibility while maintaining continuity of care for your assigned patients.
