CNA Job in Bakersfield, CA

Mercy Hospital Downtown in Bakersfield is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work the night shift, providing direct patient care and supporting the nursing team in a fast-paced acute care environment.

• Shift Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts per week on an every-other-weekend rotation
• Weekly Pay: $775
• Assignment Duration: 91 days, with a start date of September 28, 2026
• Clinical Setting: You will float between medical/surgical and telemetry units at the primary facility and a sister location 6 miles away. Acute care experience is required; LTAC or SNF experience alone will not meet this requirement.
• EHR System: Charting is performed using Cerner electronic health record system
• Required Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association)
• Shift Cancellation Policy: The hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or up to 3 shifts for assignments shorter than 13 weeks
