Med Surg RN Job in Kealakekua, HI

You'll work as a registered nurse in the medical surgical telemetry unit at Kona Community Hospital, caring for adult orthopedic patients. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 17, 2026.

About Your Role

You will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult orthopedic patients, monitoring telemetry equipment and vital signs throughout your shift. You'll collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes, document care accurately, and maintain medical records according to facility standards.

Schedule and Compensation

• 3x12 rotating shifts
• 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) and night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) available
• Shift assignments based on unit needs
• Weekly pay: $2,496.60

What to Expect

You'll work in a telemetry unit specializing in orthopedic cases, where you'll monitor patients with a range of surgical and non-surgical orthopedic conditions. Your role includes coordinating care across the healthcare team, responding to patient needs, and ensuring accurate documentation of all interventions and observations.
