Respiratory Therapist Job in Fredricksburg, VA

Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, a 140-bed facility, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for their NICU. You will work three 12-hour shifts per week on nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), including every other weekend, with no floating required.

Your Background

• Current RRT certification required
• Minimum 2 years of general respiratory therapy experience
• NICU experience required with at least a 3 rating in NICU skills
• BLS and ACLS preferred; NRP preferred but can be obtained after hire

Your Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory support to NICU and adult patients
• Administer CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, and Bubble CPAP
• Assist with intubation and mechanical ventilation management
• Operate equipment including Hamilton C1, V60, and Hamilton MR1
• Document patient care using the Meditech system

Position Details

• Weekly pay: $2,181.24
• Assignment duration: 91 days
• Start date: February 4, 2026
• Shift: 3x12 Nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
• Dress code: All black scrubs

This is a focused NICU role with no floating to other units. You will work alongside a skilled team in a stable, mid-sized medical center.
