Temp - Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) (Days) Dubuque, IA

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - ICU</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• 12-hour shifts with every third weekend requirement<br>• No on-call responsibilities<br>• 24 months of ICU/Intensive Care experience required<br>• EPIC experience required<br>• Must have completed at least one travel contract in previous 12 months - no first-time travelers<br>• Patient ratios of 1:2<br>• Required to wear dark gray scrubs<br>• Will float on rotational basis - contract RNs are first to float<br>• When floating from ICU, will be called back to ICU if needed for increased census<br>• May perform tech-like jobs/helping hands when floated, but no guarantee of avoiding patient assignment<br>• Philips monitoring equipment experience highly preferred<br>• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)<br>• NIH stroke certificate highly preferred and can be obtained during onboarding<br>• Iowa nursing license or compact/multi-state license required<br>• Skills checklist specific to ICU/Critical Care Unit required<br>• Professional reference from charge nurse/supervisor/nurse manager within 24 months preferred</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive intensive care unit utilizing EPIC electronic medical records and Philips monitoring equipment.
