Physical Therapist Outpatient Job in Sarasota, FL

Join Sarasota Memorial Nursing & Rehabilitation Center as an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 6, 2026. You'll work five 8-hour day shifts per week, choosing between 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Your Role

You will deliver one-on-one patient care in our outpatient rehabilitation clinic, conducting 60-minute sessions with approximately eight patients daily. You'll treat a diverse patient population including stroke, spinal cord injuries, head injuries, and Parkinson's disease. If interested, you'll also have the opportunity to work with musculoskeletal diagnoses.

Key Requirements

• Prior outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Must know or be able to quickly learn the Fugl-Meyer Upper Extremity Assessment
• BLS certification required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

Preferred Experience

• Experience with paired vagus nerve stimulation protocol (Vivistim)
• Vestibular therapy experience
