Case Management RN Job in Pasadena, TX

You will work as a travel RN in the Case Management and Social Work Department at HCA Houston Southeast, serving the entire hospital patient population. This is a day shift position running 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with no night shift coverage required.

Your responsibilities include:

• Performing discharge planning and Interqual criteria assessments to confirm patient status
• Managing patient ratios of 20–25 patients per RN
• Floating to med-surg or ICU units as needed to support care coordination
• Utilizing EMR systems including Meditech and Meditech Expanse, plus computer and phone systems
• Collaborating with the Social Work Department across all hospital units

Requirements:

• Active RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of hospital case management experience
• No additional certifications required
• Comfort with flexibility and asking questions as you navigate the role

Schedule and benefits:

• No weekend requirement
• 13-week assignment starting August 31, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,708.20

• Business casual attire required; no scrubs
• Plain white lab coat permitted if you own one
