Description
<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex<br>• Work in both stepdown and medical/surgical units (both required)<br>• Care for oncology and chemotherapy patients with required experience<br>• ONS/ONCC certification required (may accept fundamentals certification)<br>• Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients<br>• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and medical treatments<br>• Assist physicians in examinations and diagnostic procedures<br>• Monitor physiological data and intervene when necessary<br>• Administer medications as prescribed<br>• Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products<br>• Interact with patients and families regarding care plans and discharge planning<br>• Delegate tasks to support staff<br>• 1 year of nursing experience required<br>• Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required<br>• Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License required<br>• Required certifications: Basic Life Support (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)<br>• Good verbal and written communication skills required<br>• Computer skills necessary</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This major university medical center serves as a premier healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and advanced patient care.
