Endoscopy Tech - Endo Tech

Job Details:

• 13-week travel assignment
• Day shift hours Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call requirements from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM during weekdays
• 24-hour call coverage required on weekends
• Weekday and weekend rotation schedule
• 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
• Unit consists of 9 pre/post beds and 4 procedure rooms
• Patient ratios of 1:1 during procedures and 1:3 for pre/post care
• Work with equipment including Olympus, Steris, Conmed, ERBE, and Boston Scientific
• Documentation system: Expanse Provation
• May float to main OR Sterile Processing Department if volume is light
• Perform and assist with procedures including EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, BARRX ablations, bronchoscopies, Bravo placements, HET, TIF, EBUS, and EUS
• Must be familiar with Olympus endoscopes, medivators, and leak testing
• Knowledge of colon, EGD, ERCP, bronchoscopes, and EUS required
• Reprocessing endoscope knowledge and skills required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required
• Required certifications: BLS, Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER)
• Hospital scrubs provided; closed-toe shoes required
