OR RN Job in Fort Smith, AR

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at Mercy Hospital Fort Smith, providing perioperative care across routine surgical cases. This is a 91-day travel assignment with 4x10 day shifts and no weekend or call requirements—36 guaranteed hours per week at $2,336 weekly pay.

Your Role

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with hospital policies. Your responsibilities include:

• Complete patient assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with the surgical team
• Document the patient's physical, mental, and emotional needs
• Recognize potential problems and communicate promptly with appropriate surgical team members
• Document nursing interventions, treatments, and patient responses
• Anticipate surgical team needs by assembling supplies according to surgeon preference cards
• Document perioperative data accurately and appropriately
• Work with the EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• 2+ years of nursing experience
• CVOR and Vascular OR experience required
• Current Arkansas RN licensure
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification

What to Know
