Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• 13-week contract
• No on-call requirements
• No floating requirement
• Weekend coverage required with 6 weekend shifts per contract
• Patient ratio of 3 patients per day
• Approximately 8 patient visits per day across 3 rooms
• Serve patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Scrub color: Any
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT N, CNMT or NMTCB, and BLS
• PET certification preferred
• Required skills include: 3 Phase, Bone Scan, Exercise/Rest studies, Gastric Emptying, HIDA Scan, MUGA Scan, Nuclear Cardiology, PET Scan, Pharmacological Stress, Ventilation/Perfusion, Whole Body imaging, starting and maintaining IVs, storing/handling/disposal of radioactive materials, and Siemens equipment operation
• Interdisciplinary support available including Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Transportation
