PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour shifts from 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM, Monday through Friday
• No major holidays required
• No weekend shifts required
• No on-call responsibilities
• May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs
• Minimum 1 year of PACU experience required
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license
• Block scheduling not available
• Radiation badge not required
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks (guaranteed hours structured accordingly)
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of candidate submission
• Care for a diverse adult inpatient and outpatient population in a 15-bay PACU unit split between PACU A (primary) and PACU B (secondary)
• Work closely with the Holding unit, operating rooms, surgical providers, and anesthesia partners
• Coordinate with Main PACU partners for patients requiring post-operative admission or transfer to the Main Surgical Observation Unit
