Occupational Therapist Job in Oklahoma City, OK

You will work as an Occupational Therapist in the acute care and trauma setting at OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City. This is a full-time position offering 5x8 day shifts, with an 89-day duration starting May 4, 2026. Your weekly pay is $2,871.20.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Plan, evaluate, establish, and implement individual and group treatment activities under physician direction
• Interpret physician referrals and select appropriate standardized evaluation procedures
• Evaluate patients in areas including independent living skills, occupational performance, prevocational work adjustment, educational skills, play-leisure abilities, social skills, and psychosocial skills
• Interpret data and develop comprehensive treatment plans with short and long-term goals
• Design and fabricate adaptive equipment and orthotic devices
• Provide instruction on joint protection and body mechanics
• Communicate goals and progress to patients and families
• Assist with discharge planning by ordering equipment and instructing patients on home therapy plans
• May supervise students

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision license as an Occupational Therapist
• Current Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association upon hire
• Acute care and trauma experience required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Computer skills required

Travel experience is preferred but not required for this assignment.
