Case Management RN Job in Atlanta, GA

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Case Management role. You will work Monday through Friday on day shifts with no weekend or on-call requirements, providing continuity of care and discharge planning across the facility.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patients to drive effective discharge planning
• Coordinate services to ensure patients receive the appropriate level of care
• Initiate, evaluate, and re-evaluate treatment plans on a daily basis
• Monitor length of stay and identify barriers to discharge
• Follow Medicare regulatory guidelines regarding patient choice, IMM notices, and MOONS
• Conduct concurrent reviews, continued stay reviews, and retrospective reviews
• Utilize InterQual Criteria and Milliman Guidelines
• Apply knowledge of ICD-10 coding, CPT coding, and DRG documentation
• Manage a daily census of 20–25 adult and geriatric patients
• Float within the facility and scope of practice as needed

Qualifications:

• Current Georgia or Compact nursing license
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
• Travel nursing experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Charting system experience required
• BLS certification required

Assignment Details:

• Schedule: 5x8 day shifts, Monday–Friday
• Duration: 98 days
• Start date: November 16, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,115
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; no time off during September
• Holiday work expectations apply per assignment overlap
