Respiratory Therapist Job in Vicksburg, MS

Merit Health River Region is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment. You will work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM in a fast-paced acute care hospital environment.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour days per week with alternating weekend coverage (every other weekend required)
• Duration: 91 days, starting September 21, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,521
• Facility: Merit Health River Region, Vicksburg, MS

Requirements:

• Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential
• Minimum 1+ year of acute care hospital experience
• Valid certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
• Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility

As a travel respiratory therapist, you will provide direct patient care, manage airways, operate ventilators, and assist in respiratory assessment across the hospital. You will collaborate with nursing and physician teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes while adapting to the hospital's protocols and equipment.
