PCU RN Job in Oklahoma City, OK

You will provide direct nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex in a Progressive Care Unit setting. You will assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients, document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments, and assist physicians in examination of patients and performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatment.

Your clinical responsibilities include:

• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Interact with family and patients regarding care plans during hospitalization and at discharge
• Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel
• Delegate tasks to support staff

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Medical-Surgical and ICU experience preferred
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required (Bachelor's preferred)
• Current RN License issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
• Current Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Computer skills and ability to respond to cultural and language needs of patients

Position Details:

This is a 89-day travel assignment at OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. You will work 3x12 hour day shifts, with a weekly pay of $2,397.60. Your start date is April 27, 2026.
