RN - GI Lab

Job Details:

• Day shift position with 2 RNs and 2-3 techs depending on case load
• Call required 2-3 days per week plus every 3rd weekend
• Alternating weekends required
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Must have experience performing EGD, Colonoscopy, and ERCP procedures
• Must be able to perform moderate sedation with another RN
• Bronchoscopy and EBUS experience preferred
• Typical procedures include EGD, colonoscopies, ERCPs, bronchoscopies, EBUS, robotic bronchoscopies, occasional thoracentesis, and pleur-X placement
• Required to work with Olympus scopes, Medivator, and Scope Buddy 2 equipment
• EMR system: Meditech
• Required certification: ACLS
• Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs; hospital scrubs available to wear
• No floating required
