Occupational Therapist Job in Bethel, AK

You will provide full-time occupational therapy services to patients of all ages across inpatient, outpatient, and community-based settings in Bethel, Alaska. Your work will span hospital-based care, local long-term care facilities, and village settings, with home visits and regional travel as needed.

Your responsibilities include:

• Deliver quality occupational therapy treatment aligned with Alaska's scope of practice
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop evidence-based care plans tailored to patient age and individual needs
• Modify and adjust treatment plans using age-specific and patient-specific considerations
• Perform home visits and travel to local villages as required
• Collaborate with medical providers and other clinical staff
• Utilize standard OT equipment including hi-lo tables, therapeutic exercise equipment, ultrasound and electric stimulation modalities, and ADL training rooms
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and communicate effectively with diverse populations

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current Alaska OT license in good standing, or valid license from another state while awaiting Alaska licensure
• Current NBCOT certification
• Current BLS certification
• Clinical experience preferred but not required
