RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under their direction
• Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to assess data and plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients
• Work on a general surgery unit with thorough screening process
• On-call schedule to be determined by facility
• Weekend schedule to be determined by facility
• 2+ years of recent Med Surg/General Surgery experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• No scheduling restrictions - must be willing to work facility's schedule
• Must have active NIHSS Certification upon submission
• Must be willing to obtain mRs/SIREN Certification within 48 hours if offered
• Must be willing to complete Basic EKG and score 85% or higher within 48 hours if offered
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
• Maryland nursing license required with Nursys verification (must be less than 30 days old)
