Interventional Radiologist - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• 10-hour day shifts with rotating start times of 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 8:00 AM
• 40 hours per week guaranteed
• Rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities
• Assignment lengths available: 16, 20, or 26 weeks
• No float required
• Mandatory overtime may be required on an as-needed basis to ensure unit coverage as part of the staff rotation pool
• Must have considerable knowledge of physiology and anatomy
• Must have considerable knowledge of applicable diagnostic equipment, procedures, and techniques
• Knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety techniques and policies required
• Minimum 2 years of experience performing interventional and special radiographic procedures required
• Hybrid interventional radiology experience preferred
• Cardiac interventional or vascular interventional registry by ARRT required, or registry eligible with commitment to obtain registry within six months
• Radiography Registry [R.T. (R)] by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required
• Connecticut State license to practice radiography required and must be maintained throughout employment
• Required certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, must be maintained throughout employment
