Med Surg RN Job in Goldsboro, NC

You'll work as an RN in our Med Surg unit at University of North Carolina Health Care System in Goldsboro, NC. This is a 96-week travel position starting May 11, 2026, with a 3x12 rotating shift schedule. You'll earn $2,095.92 weekly.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards
• Conduct patient assessments including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety evaluations
• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Perform bedside point-of-care testing as required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning
• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems
• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs
• Participate in professional development and unit performance improvement activities

Your Qualifications

• Current North Carolina RN license
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school of nursing
• One year of nursing experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC) required
• BSN or MSN from an accredited school of nursing preferred
• English proficiency required (read, write, speak)
